3 وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ وُهَيْبِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ النَّحَّاسِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ إِنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) بَكَى لِقَتْلِهِ السَّمَاءُ وَ الْأَرْضُ وَ احْمَرَّتَا وَ لَمْ تَبْكِيَا عَلَى أَحَدٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا وَ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّع وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ
3. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Wuhayb ibn Ḥafs Al-Naḥḥās, from Abī Basīr, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) said: The heavens and the earth wept over the killing of Ḥusain
and they turned red. They have never wept over anyone except for Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā
and Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali
. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: My father, from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Wuhayb ibn Ḥafs Al-Naḥḥās, from Abī Basīr, from Abī ‘Abdillāh
