أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:
مَنْ حَلَفَ بِاللَّهِ فَلْیَصْدُقْ وَ مَنْ لَمْ یَصْدُقْ فَلَیْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِی شَیْ ءٍ وَ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِاللَّهِ فَلْیَرْضَ وَ مَنْ لَمْ یَرْضَ فَلَیْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِی شَیْ ءٍ.
12. My father
said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from Hamad b. Isa from al-Hussain b. al-Mukhtar from Abi Abdillah who said:
“One who swears by Allah, should prove his words true. One who cannot prove it, there is no value for him in Allah’s view. Hence one who swears by Allah, should please Allah. If he is not able to please Allah, there will be no value for him in Allah’s view.”
