أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ زِیَادٍ الْقَنْدِیِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ عَنْ عِیصِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ: ذُکِرَ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَاتِلُ الْحُسَیْنِ ع فَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ کُنْتُ أَتَمَنَّی أَنْ یَنْتَقِمَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ فِی الدُّنْیَا قَالَ کَأَنَّکَ تَسْتَقِلُّ لَهُ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ وَ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَشَدُّ عَذَاباً وَ أَشَدُّ نَکَالًا مِنْهُ.
1. My father
said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Ziyad al-Qandi from Muhammad b. Abi Hamzah from Ees b. al-Qasim who said: The discussion of the killer of Imam Husain was going on with Imam Ja’far Sadiq
. A companion expressed his wish saying that Allah should take revenge from the killer in this world itself. Imam
told him, “In this way, you are reducing the punishment of Allah while it is very severe and painful.”
