أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِیسَی عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ مَوْلَی الرِّضَا عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ ع قَالَ:
مَنْ قَالَ حِینَ یَسْمَعُ أَذَانَ الصُّبْحِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّی أَسْأَلُکَ بِإِقْبَالِ نَهَارِکَ وَ إِدْبَارِ لَیْلِکَ وَ حُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِکَ وَ أَصْوَاتِ دُعَاتِکَ وَ تَسْبِیحِ مَلَائِکَتِکَ أَنْ تَتُوبَ عَلَیَ إِنَّکَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِیمُ وَ مِثْلَ ذَلِکَ إِذَا سَمِعَ أَذَانَ الْمَغْرِبِ ثُمَّ مَاتَ مِنْ یَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَیْلَتِهِ کَانَ تَائِباً.
1. My father
said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Isa from Abbas slave of al-Ridha from Abi al-Hassan who said:
“One who recites the following supplication after Azaan of Morning and Maghrib Prayers and if he dies on that day or night he would have died after repenting (forgiven): Allaahumma innee as-aluka bi-iqbaali nahaarika wa idbaari lailika wa h’uz”oori s’alawaatika wa as’waati duaa’tika an tatooba a’layya innaka antat tawwaabur rah’eem.”
