حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْعَوَامِّ رَفَعَهُ إِلَی أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:
مَنْ قَرَأَ فِی الْمُصْحَفِ نَظَراً مُتِّعَ بِبَصَرِهِ وَ خُفِّفَ عَنْ وَالِدَیْهِ وَ إِنْ کَانَا کَافِرَیْنِ.
1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Abdillah from Ya’qub b. Yazid from a man from the general populace who raised it to Abi Abdillah 
who said:
“One who recites the Holy Quran by looking at it, his eyes will become stronger and the chastisement of his parents would be reduced even if they had been disbelievers.”
