حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ الْحَاجُّ إِذَا دَخَلَ مَکَّهَ وَکَّلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهِ مَلَکَیْنِ یَحْفَظَانِ عَلَیْهِ طَوَافَهُ وَ صَلَاتَهُ وَ سَعْیَهُ فَإِذَا وَقَفَ بِعَرَفَهَ ضَرَبَا عَلَی مَنْکِبِهِ الْأَیْمَنِ ثُمَّ قَالا أَمَّا مَا مَضَی فَقَدْ کُفِیتَهُ فَانْظُرْ کَیْفَ تَکُونُ فِیمَا یَسْتَقْبِلُ.
6. The narrator says that he heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq say,
“When a Hajj pilgrim enters Mecca, Allah allots two angels for protecting him during circumambulation, Salaat and Saee. When he halts in Arafah, he is patted on his right shoulder and told, ‘Your past sins are forgiven. See how you spend your future life’.”
