(7) From among the famous speech of Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq is this saying that he has said when visiting the grave of his son Issma’eel: “My pity for you is more than my grief on you. O Allah, I have forgiven Issma’eel all that he has failed to achieve due to my right upon him. O Allah, forgive him all that he has failed to achieve due to Your rights upon him!”
