15ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام)
يُكْرَهُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَقُولَ حَيَّاكَ الله ثُمَّ يَسْكُتَ حَتَّى يَتْبَعَهَا بِالسَّلامِ.
15. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following:
“Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib has said, ‘It is undesirable for a man to say, “May Allah keep you living,” then remain silent without offering the greeting of peace thereafter.’”
