14ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ الْجَمَّالِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
لأنْ أُشْبِعَ رَجُلاً مِنْ إِخْوَانِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَدْخُلَ سُوقَكُمْ هَذَا فَأَبْتَاعَ مِنْهَا رَأْساً فَأُعْتِقَهُ.
14. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Isma’il ibn Mehran from Safwan al-Jammal from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following:
“Feeding one of my brothers (in belief) to his satisfaction is more beloved to me than entering your market to buy a slave and set him free.”
