23ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه)
إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَلاءِ فَاحْمَدُوا الله وَلا تُسْمِعُوهُمْ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَحْزُنُهُمْ.
23. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from Harun ibn al-Jahm from Hafs ibn ‘Umar from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following:
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘When you see people who are in affliction, express the praise of Allah but do not make them hear it; it may cause them to feel sad.’”
