5-70 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’ed ibn Abdullah quoted Yaqoob ibn Yazid, on the authority of Isma’il ibn Qutaybat al-Basry, on the authority of Abi Khalid al-Ajami that Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) said,

“No one can benefit from those who lack five characteristics: religion; intellect; politeness; freedom-loving; and a good temper.”
