4-19 Abu Bakr Muhammad b. Ali b. Ismail narrated to me, who said: Abu Muhammad Abdullah b. Zaydan al-Balkhi narrated to us in what Abu al-Abbas b. Uqda read to him, who said: Ali b. al-Muthanna narrated to me, who said: Zayd b. Hubab narrated to me, who said: Abdullah b. Lahi'ah narrated to me, who said: Ja'far b. Rabi'ah narrated to me, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "On the Day of Resurrection, no one will be mounted except us, and we are four." Al-Abbas b. Abd al-Muttalib stood up and asked, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم replied: "As for me, I will be on the Buraq. Its face is like the face of a human, its cheeks like the cheeks of a horse, its mane is of strung pearls, its ears are two green emeralds, and its eyes are like the morning star, shining like two bright stars. It emits rays like the sun. From its chest falls strings of beads. It has long arms and legs, a breath like that of humans, it hears speech and understands it. It is larger than a donkey and smaller than a mule." Al-Abbas asked, "And who else, O Messenger of Allah?" He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "And my brother Salih will be on the she-camel of Allah, which his people slaughtered." Al-Abbas asked, "And who else, O Messenger of Allah?" He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "And my uncle Hamza b. Abd al-Muttalib, the Lion of Allah and the Lion of His Messenger, the master of martyrs, will be on my she-camel, Al-Adhba'." Al-Abbas asked, "And who else, O Messenger of Allah?" He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "And my brother Ali will be on a she-camel from the camels of Paradise. Its bridle is of soft pearls, and it carries a saddle of red ruby. Its frame is of white pearls, and on his head is a crown of light. He wears two green garments, holding the banner of praise, and he will call out: 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' The creation will say, 'This is none other than a sent prophet or a close angel.' Then a caller from beneath the Throne will proclaim: 'This is not a close angel, nor a sent prophet, nor a bearer of the Throne. This is Ali b. Abi Talib, the trustee of the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds, the leader of the pious, and the commander of the radiant ones.'" The author of this book (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This is a rare hadith due to its mention of the Buraq and its description, and the mention of Hamza b. Abd al-Muttalib."
