فالوجه فيه انه ليس في صيام هذه الايام من الفضل والتبرك به ما في غيرها من الايام، وان كان يجوز صومه حسب ما تضمنه الخبر من التخيير. واما صوم يوم عرفة: فقد ورد فيه الترغيب حسب ما تضمنه الخبر وقد ورد فيه كراهية اما ما ورد من الترغيب ما رواه:
The meaning of it is that in fasting these days there is not, of merit and seeking blessing through it, what there is in other days, even though fasting it is permissible according to what the report contains of choice. As for fasting the day of Arafah: encouragement regarding it has been reported according to what the report contains, and dislike regarding it has also been reported. As for what has been reported of encouragement, it is what he narrated (in the following hadith):
