Commentary #52

ولا يجوز لمن يصلي بقوم أن يكون موضع وقوفه على شبه سطح أو دكان وما أشبه ذلك ويجوز ذلك للمأمومين

And it is not permissible for the one who is leading a group in prayer to stand in a place that is elevated, such as a rooftop, a raised platform, or anything similar to that. But it is permissible for the followers to do so.
