قال الشيخ رحمه الله والسلام في الصلاة سنة وليس بفرض يفسد بتركه الصلاة يدل على ذلك ما رواه
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: ‘And the salam in prayer is a sunnah and not an obligation whose omission invalidates the prayer.’ This is supported by what was narrated:
