إنما قال عليه السلام لا تنظروا الى ما اصنع لئلا يعتقد ان ذلك يلزمهم على طريق الفرض دون أن يكون قد منعه أن يقتدي بفعله على جهة الفضل وطلب الكمال والجلوس بين السجدتين وبين السجود والقيام من آداب الصلاة لا من فرائضها والذي يبين ما ذكرناه ما رواه
He عليه السلام, peace be upon him, only said ‘Do not look at what I do’ so that it would not be assumed that it is obligatory upon them in the manner of an obligation, and not because He عليه السلام forbade following his action in pursuit of virtue and the seeking of perfection. And sitting between the two prostrations and between the prostration and the standing is among the etiquettes (adab) of prayer, not among its obligations (fara’id).
