The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: “If a woman miscarries and the fetus is complete at four months or more, then it should be washed, shrouded, and buried. However, if it is less than four months, it should be wrapped in a cloth and buried along with its blood without washing.”
