This narration is understood as being given under taqiyyah (dissimulation) because it aligns with the practice of the general public ('ammah). Then the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: "It is recommended that one of the two shrouding sheets (lifafah) be a striped cloth (hibrah)." This has already been mentioned earlier, and there is further evidence supporting it as well.
