والقول في قنوت الفريضة في الأيام كلها إلا في الجمعة " اللهم إني أسألك لي ولوالدي ولولدي ولأهل بيتي وإخواني المؤمنين فيك اليقين والعفو والمعافاة و الرحمة والمغفرة والعافية في الدنيا والآخرة " فإذا فرغت من القنوت فركع واسجد فإذا رفعت رأسك من السجدة الثانية فتشهد وقل: " بسم الله وبالله والحمد لله والأسماء الحسنى كلها لله، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، وأشهد أن محمدا عبده و رسوله، أرسله بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا بين يدي الساعة " ثم انهض إلى الثالثة وقل إذا اتكيت على يديك للقيام: " بحول الله وقوته أقوم وأقعد " وقل فالركعتين الأخيرتين إماما كنت أو غير إمام " سبحان الله والحمد لله ولا إله إلا الله والله أكبر " ثلاث مرات وإن شئت قرأت في كل ركعة منها الحمد إلا أن التسبيح أفضل، فإذا صليت الركعة الرابعة فتشهد وقل في تشهدك " بسم الله وبالله والحمد لله والأسماء الحسنى كلها لله، اشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله، أرسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون، التحيات لله والصلوات الطيبات الطاهرات الزاكيات الناميات الغاديات الرائحات المباركات الحسنات لله، ما طاب وطهر وزكى وخلص ونمى فلله وما خبث فلغيره، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله أرسله بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا بين يدي الساعة. وأشهد أن الجنة حق وأن النار حق، وأن الساعة آتية لا ريب فيها، وأن الله يبعث من في القبور، وأشهد أن ربي نعم الرب وأن محمدا نعم الرسول أرسل، وأشهد أن ما على الرسول إلا البلاغ المبين، السلام عليك أيها النبي ورحمة الله وبركاته، السلام على محمد بن عبد الله خاتم النبيين، السلام على الأئمة الراشدين المهديين، السلام على جميع أنبياء الله ورسله وملائكته، السلام علينا وعلى عباد الله الصالحين. ويجزيك في التشهد الشهادتان، وهذا أفضل لأنها العبادة ثم تسلم وأنت مستقبل القبلة وتميل بعينك إلى يمينك إن كنت إماما، وإن صليت وحدك قلت: " السلام عليكم " مرة واحدة وأنت مستقبل القبلة، وتميل بأنفك إلى يمينك، وإن كنت خلف إمام تأتم به فسلم تجاه القبلة واحدة ردا على الامام، وتسلم على يمينك واحدة وعلى يسارك واحدة إلا أن لا يكون على يسارك إنسان فلا تسلم على يسارك إلا أن تكون بجنب الحائط فتسلم على يسارك ولا تدع التسليم على يمينك كان على يمينك أحد أو لم يكن.
Regarding the Qunoot in the obligatory prayers on all days except Jumu’ah, the supplication is: Allahumma inni as’aluka li wa li-walidayya wa li-waladi wa li-ahl bayti wa ikhwanī al-mu'minīn fīka al-yaqīn wa al-‘afwa wa al-mu‘afāt wa al-rahmah wa al-maghfirah wa al-‘afiyah fi al-dunya wa al-akhirah. "O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I ask You for myself, my parents, my children, my household, and my believing brothers in You, for certainty (in faith), pardon, protection, mercy, forgiveness, and well-being in this world and the Hereafter." After completing the Qunoot, bow down (ruku') and then perform prostration (Sujood). When you raise your head from the second prostration, recite the tashahhud (testimony of faith): "In the name of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, by Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and all praise belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. All the beautiful names belong to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah سبحانه وتعالى, alone without partner. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, whom He sent with the truth as a bringer of good news and a warner before the Hour." Then rise to the third unit (rak'ah), saying as you rely on your hands to stand: "By the power and might of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I rise and sit." In the last two rak'ahs, whether leading or following, you may recite "Subhan Allah سبحانه وتعالى, wal-hamdu lillah, wa la ilaha illa Allah سبحانه وتعالى, wa Allahu Akbar" (Glory to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, praise to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, there is no god but Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and Allah سبحانه وتعالى is the Greatest) three times. If you prefer, you may recite Surah al-Fatihah (the Opening), but reciting tasbih is preferred. After the fourth rak'ah, during the final tashahhud, recite: "In the name of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, by Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and all praise belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. All the beautiful names belong to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah سبحانه وتعالى, alone without partner. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, whom He sent with guidance and the true religion, so that He may make it prevail over all religions, even if the polytheists dislike it. All greetings, prayers, pure blessings, and beautiful acts belong to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and all that is pure, clean, and grows belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and all that is impure belongs to others. I testify that there is no god but Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and He is alone, with no partner. I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, whom He sent with the truth as a bringer of good news and a warner before the Hour (the Day of Judgment). I testify that Heaven is the truth, and Hell is the truth, and that the Hour (the Day of Judgment) is certain, with no doubt in it. And that Allah سبحانه وتعالى will resurrect those in the graves. I testify that my Lord عز وجل is the best of Lord عز وجلs, and Muhammad is the best of Messengers sent, and I testify that the Messenger only has the clear delivery of the message. Peace be upon you, O’ Prophet, and the mercy of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His blessings. Peace be upon Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the seal of the Prophets. Peace be upon the rightly guided and divinely guided Imams عليه السلام. Peace be upon all the Prophets of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, His Messengers, and His angels. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah سبحانه وتعالى." In the Tashahhud, you recite the two testimonies (Shahada), which is the best form as it is the essence of worship. Then, perform the Tasleem (salutation) while facing the Qibla. If you are the Imam, tilt your eyes to the right. If you are praying alone, say: 'Assalamu Alaikum' once while facing the Qibla, tilting your nose to the right. If you are praying behind an Imam, respond to the Imam's Tasleem by facing the Qibla once, and then give the salutation to your right and left. If there is no one on your left, do not give the salutation to your left unless you are beside a wall, in which case you would give the salutation to the left. Never neglect the Tasleem to your right, whether there is someone on your right or not."
