The Jumu’ah bath (ghusl) is an emphasized recommended practice, and it can be performed from the time of dawn (Fajr) on Jumu’ah until near the time of noon. The best time being the most preferred time being close to noon. If one forgets or misses the ghusl due to an excuse, they may perform it after the afternoon or even on Saturday, and it will still suffice as the Jumu’ah bath as it serves the purpose of purification and preparation. Before performing ghusl, one should perform wudu (ablution), and when performing the Jumu’ah bath, the person should say: 'O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, purify me, purify my heart, cleanse my body, and let love for You flow on my tongue.'
