وغسل يوم الجمعة واجب على الرجال والنساء في السفر والحضر إلا أنه رخص للنساء في السفر لقلة الماء. ومن كان في سفر ووجد الماء يوم الخميس وخشي أن لا يجده يوم الجمعة فلا بأس بأن يغتسل يوم الخميس للجمعة، فإن وجد الماء يوم الجمعة اغتسل، وإن لم يجد أجزأه.
The Jumu’ah (ghusl) is obligatory for both men and women, whether at home or while traveling, though women are granted a concession when traveling due to the scarcity of water. If a person is traveling and finds water on Thursday but fears they will not find it on Jumu’ah, it is permissible to perform the ghusl for Jumu’ah on Thursday. If they find water on Jumu’ah, they should perform the ghusl then, but if they do not, the previous ghusl suffices.
