88. Al-Husayn Bin Muhammad Al-Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Is’haq Al-Ashary, from Bakr Bin Muhammad Al-Azady who said: Abu Abdullah said: ‘The Rasool ﷺ Allah (azwj) had fever so Jibraeel gave to him ﷺ a charm. So he said: ‘In the Name of Allah (azwj) I perform incantation on you ﷺ, O Muhammad ﷺ, and in the Name of Allah (azwj) I heal you ﷺ, and in the Name of Allah (azwj) from every disease which has exhausted you ﷺ, and in the Name of Allah (azwj), and Allah (azwj) is your ﷺ Healer. So take it and congratulations to you ﷺ. [56:75] Nay, I swear by the places of the stars for it would free you ﷺ from it by the Permission of Allah (azwj)’. Bakr (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked him about an incantation for the fever, so he narrated to me with this’.
