422. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Abaan Bin Usmaan, from Abu Hamza Al-Thumaly, from Abu Razeyn Al-Asady, who has narrated the following: Amir-ul- Momineen (a.s) said: ‘When Noah (a.s) was free from building the ship and there were (many) seasons between him (a.s) and his (a.s) Lord (azwj) for the destruction of his (a.s) people, the overflowing of the oven. His (a.s) wife said, ‘The oven has overflowed’. So he (a.s) stood up and covered it. The water was contained. And he (a.s) entered into the ship whosoever that he (a.s) wanted to, and exited from it whosoever he (a.s) wanted to. Then he (a.s) came to his (a.s) covering and took it off. Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic Said: “[54:11] So We opened the gates of the sky with water pouring [54:12] And We made water to flow forth in the land in springs, so the water gathered together according to a measure already ordained [54:13] And We bore him on that which was made of planks and nails”. And he (a.s) had built it in the middle of your Masjid and it was of seven hundred cubits’.
