عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا عَرَفْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ (عليه السلام) أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا دَخَلَ مِنْ بَابِ الْفِيلِ فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَتَبِعْتُهُ حَتَّى أَتَى بِئْرَ الزَّكَاةِ وَ هِيَ عِنْدَ دَارِ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَ إِذَا بِنَاقَتَيْنِ مَعْقُولَتَيْنِ وَ مَعَهُمَا غُلَامٌ أَسْوَدُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ مَنْ هَذَا فَقَالَ هَذَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (عليه السلام) فَدَنَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَ قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا أَقْدَمَكَ بِلَاداً قُتِلَ فِيهَا أَبُوكَ وَ جَدُّكَ فَقَالَ زُرْتُ أَبِي وَ صَلَّيْتُ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَا هُوَ ذَا وَجْهِي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ.

363. Ali Bin Muhammad, from Salih Bin Abu Hammaad, from Ali Bin Al-Hakam, from Malik Bin Atiyya, from Abu Hamza who said: The first time I recognised Ali (asws) Bin Al-Husayn (asws) was when I saw a man enter from the Door of ‘Al-Feel’. He (asws) Prayed four cycles. So I followed him (asws) until he (asws) came to the well of Al-Zakat, and it was in the house of Salih Bin Ali, and there were two she-camels with whom was a black slave. So I said to him, ‘Who is this one?’ He said, ‘This is Ali (asws) Bin Al-Husayn (asws). So I approached him (asws). I greeted him (asws) and said to him (asws), ‘What is the reason that you (asws) have walked into the city in which your (asws) father (asws), and your (asws) grandfather were killed?’ So he (asws) said: ‘I (asws) visited (Ziyarat) my (asws) father, and Prayed in this Masjid’. Then said: ‘This is where I (asws) have turned my (asws) attention to. May Allah (azwj) Send Greetings upon him (asws)’.
