Book 1, Chapter 186

Wisdom is a missing property of the believers, which he grabs when he finds it
1 Ḥadīth

سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ الْحِكْمَةُ ضَالَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ فَحَيْثُمَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ ضَالَّتَهُ فَلْيَأْخُذْهَا.


186. Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Bakr Bin Saleh, from Ibn Sinan, from Amro Bin Shimr, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah (a.s) said: ‘The wisdom is the objective of the believer, so wherever one of you finds his objective, so he should take it’.
