مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ السَّدَابُ يَزِيدُ فِي الْعَقْلِ .
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ya’qub ibn ‘Amir from a man who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Sadab (Rue herb of grace) increases the power of understanding.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ أَوْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) الْوَهْمُ مِنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى قَالَ ذُكِرَ السَّدَابُ فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّ فِيهِ مَنَافِعَ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْعَقْلِ وَ تَوْفِيرٌ فِي الدِّمَاغِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يُنَتِّنُ مَاءَ الظَّهْرِ .وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ جَيِّدٌ لِوَجَعِ الْأُذُنِ .
2. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Musa from Ali ibn al-Hassan al-Hamadaniy from Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn Ibrahim who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far, or abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, -uncertainty is from Muhammad ibn Musa- has said, ‘Once al-Sadab was mentioned and He (the Imam) said, ‘There are benefits in it. It increases the power of understanding, increases in the brain except that it putrefies one’s back’s water.’ It is narrated that it is very good for ear ache.”
