Book 3, Chapter 178

No Vigilance and Protectionism against Lawful Matters
1 Ḥadīth

1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (a.s) قَالَ لا غَيْرَةَ فِي الْحَلالِ بَعْدَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لا تُحَدِّثَا شَيْئاً حَتَّى أَرْجِعَ إِلَيْكُمَا فَلَمَّا أَتَاهُمَا أَدْخَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ بَيْنَهُمَا فِي الْفِرَاشِ.


1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s), has said, ‘Vigilance and protectionism is not needed against lawful matters, in the light of the words of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, “The two of you (Ali and Fatimah, Alayhim al-Salam ,) you must not do anything until I come back to you” and when he (the Messenger of Allah) came back he stretched his legs between them in the furnishing.’”
