1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مِنْ أَخْلاقِ الأنْبِيَاءِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ حُبُّ النِّسَاءِ.
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim has narrated from his father from Muhammad Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Love for women is of the moral manners of the prophets.’”
2- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ رَجُلا يَزْدَادُ فِي الإيمَانِ خَيْراً إِلا ازْدَادَ حُبّاً لِلنِّسَاءِ.
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya al-‘ Attar has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘I do not think a man can increase anything good in his belief except that he increases his love for women.’”
3- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُعَمَّرِ بْنِ خَلادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوسَى الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ ثَلاثٌ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ الْعِطْرُ وَأَخْذُ الشَّعْرِ وَكَثْرَةُ الطَّرُوقَةِ.
3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mu’ammar ibn Khallad who has said the following: “I once heard al-Rida’ (a.s.), saying, ‘Three things are of the traditions of the Messengers (of Allah): use of perfume, trimming hairs and ampleness of (relation in) marriage.’”
4- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ سُكَيْنٍ النَّخَعِيِّ وَكَانَ تَعَبَّدَ وَتَرَكَ النِّسَاءَ وَالطِّيبَ وَالطَّعَامَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَمَّا قَوْلُكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَأَمَّا قَوْلُكَ فِي الطَّعَامِ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) يَأْكُلُ اللَّحْمَ وَالْعَسَلَ.
4. Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from and Ali ibn Ibrahim from his father all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid who has narrated the following: “Sukayn al-Nakha‘iy worshipped and had given up women, perfume and food. He wrote to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and asked him (the Imam) about it. He (the Imam) wrote to him in answer, ‘About your words concerning women, take notice about the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, how many women he (the Messenger of Allah) had, and about food you must take notice that the Messenger of Allah ate meat with honey.’”
5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ السِّنْدِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ رَجُلا يَزْدَادُ فِي هَذَا الأمْرِ خَيْراً إِلا ازْدَادَ حُبّاً لِلنِّسَاءِ.
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Salih al-Sindiy from Ja’far ibn Bashir from Aban from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘I do not think anyone increases goodness in this issue (belief in the Divine Authority of ‘A’immah) without his increasing love for women.’”
6- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَا أُحِبُّ مِنْ دُنْيَاكُمْ إِلا النِّسَاءَ وَالطِّيبَ.
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah (saww) has said, ‘I do not love anything from your world except women and perfume.’”
7- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَكَّارِ بْنِ كَرْدَمٍ وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) جُعِلَ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلاةِ وَلَذَّتِي فِي النِّسَاءِ.
7. Muhammad Ibn Abi ‘Umayr has narrated from Bakkar ibn Kardam from more than one person who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah (saww) , has said, ‘The delight for my eyes is placed in Salat (prayer) and my pleasure in women.’”
8- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ سَأَلَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَيُّ الأشْيَاءِ أَلَذُّ قَالَ فَقُلْنَا غَيْرَ شَيْءٍ فَقَالَ هُوَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَلَذُّ الأشْيَاءِ مُبَاضَعَةُ النِّسَاءِ.
8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Salmah ibn al-Khattab from Ali ibn Hassa’n from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “We once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ’What is the most enjoyable thing? 5 We said other things. He (the Imam) said, ’The most enjoyable of things is sexual intercourse with women.”’
9- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) جُعِلَ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلاةِ وَلَذَّتِي فِي الدُّنْيَا النِّسَاءُ وَرَيْحَانَتَيَّ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ.
9. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from af-Hassan ibn Afi from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the foflowing: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘The delight of my eyes is placed in Salat (prayer), my enjoyment of the world in women and my comfort and relief with al-Hassan and al-Husayn (a.s.).”’
10- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مَا تَلَذَّذَ النَّاسُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ بِلَذَّةٍ أَكْثَرَ لَهُمْ مِنْ لَذَّةِ النِّسَاءِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَواتِ مِنَ النِّساءِ وَالْبَنِينَ إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ مَا يَتَلَذَّذُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَشْهَى عِنْدَهُمْ مِنَ النِّكَاحِ لا طَعَامٍ وَلا شَرَابٍ.
10. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah al-Barqiy from al-Hassan ibn abu Qatadah from a man from Jamil ibn Darraj who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The most enjoyable thing people experience in this world and in the hereafter is enjoyment with women and it is in the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, ‘The love and enjoyment for women and children is made attractive for people.’ (3:13) He (the Imam) then said, ‘People of paradise will not enjoy from anything else as much as they will with marriage, but not from food or drink.’”
