رَوَى مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: «اَلنَّحْرُ فِي اَللَّبَّةِ وَ اَلذَّبْحُ فِي اَلْحَلْقِ».
Muawiyah ibn Ammar narrated from Abu Abdullah (a.s), who said: "Nahr (slaughtering a camel) is at the throat hollow, and Dhabh (slaughtering other animals) is at the hollow of the neck."
