406. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: It is good for the rich to show humility before the poor to seek reward from Allāh, but better than that is the haughtiness of the poor towards the rich with trust in Allāh.

406. Qu’elle est belle l’humilité des riches face aux pauvres pour demander ce qui est à Dieu! Plus belle encore la fierté des pauvres face aux riches d’être confiants en Dieu.
