Forbearance earns allies against ignorance

Ḥadīth 254

٢٠٦. وَقَالَ (عليه ‏السلام): أَوَّلُ عِوَضِ الْحَلِيمِ مِنْ حِلْمِهِ أَنَّ النَّاسَ أَنْصَارُهُ عَلَى الْجَاهِلِ.

206. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: The first reward the exerciser of forbearance gets is that people become his helpers against the ignorant.
