1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from ibn Muskan from Aban ibn Taghlib who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about those who are killed in the way of Allah, are Ghusl (bath), shroud and hunut done for them? He (the Imam) said, ‘They are buried as they are found in their clothes, unless found alive, then die in which case Ghusl (bath), shroud, hunut and Salah (prayer) are done for them. The Messenger of Allah performed Salah (prayer) for Hamzah and his body was placed in the shroud because his clothes were looted.’”
