Al-Kāfi - Volume 3 > Women During Hayd Pick up Prayer Rug or Water
Hadith #1

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ تُنَاوِلُ الرَّجُلَ الْمَاءَ فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ بَعْضُ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) تَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ وَتُنَاوِلُهُ الْخُمْرَةَ.

1. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the woman who during her Hayd (menses) brings water for the man. He (the Imam) said, ‘Wives of the Holy prophet, would pour water on him during their experiencing Hayd (menses) and furnish for him prayer mat.”’
