51. The Time Spent in the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) Is Not Counted from One’s Life

1 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْعَدَوِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ عَنْ هَيْثَمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرُّمَّانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (ع) عَنْ أَبِيهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقُ (ع) إِنَّ أَيَّامَ زَائِرِي الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) لَا تُحْسَبُ مِنْ أَعْمَارِهِمْ وَ لَا تُعَدُّ مِنْ آجَالِهِمْ

Muĥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ĥimyari narrated to me from Abǐ Sa’ǐd Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Zakariyyā Al-‘Adawi Al-Bašri, from Haytham ibn ‘Abdillāh Al-Rummāni, from Abil Ĥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)), from his father (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)), who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh, Ja’far ibn Muĥammad Al-Šādiq (a.s.) said: The days spent by those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) are not counted as part of their lives; they do not reduce from their time (to death).
