63. Punishment of not giving shelter to a helpless believer

أَبِی ره بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَنْ کَانَ لَهُ دَارٌ وَ احْتَاجَ مُؤْمِنٌ إِلَی أَنْ یَسْکُنَهَا فَمَنَعَهُ إِیَّاهَا قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَلَائِکَتِی عَبْدِی بَخِلَ عَلَی عَبْدِی بِسُکْنَی الدُّنْیَا وَ عِزَّتِی لَا یَسْکُنُ جِنَانِی أَبَداً.


1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said that one who has a house and if a believer desires to live in that house but the former does not allow him, the Almighty Allah says, “O My angels! This man is acting miserly in giving shelter to My servant in this world. I swear by My honor, he will never receive a place in My Paradise.”
