 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَارِدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ یَمُوتُ فِی غُرْبَهٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ تَغِیبُ فِیهَا بَوَاکِیهِ إِلَّا بَکَتْهُ بِقَاعُ الْأَرَضِینَ الَّذِی کَانَ یَتَعَبَّدُ اللَّهَ فِیهَا وَ بَکَتْهُ أَبْوَابُهُ وَ بَکَتْهُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ الَّتِی کَانَ یَصْعَدُ فِیهَا عَمَلُهُ وَ بَکَاهُ الْمَلَکَانِ الْمُوَکَّلَانِ بِهِ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali Majluwayh from his uncle Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Muhammad b. Marid from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “No believer passes away while he is away from his home having no one to weep over him except that the parts of the earth where he used to worship and the clothes, which he used to wear will weep for him. All those doors of heaven weep for him, from which his deeds used to go up and the angels appointed on him will weep for him.”
