Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا ع مَا لِمَنْ أَتَی قَبْرَ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْأَئِمَّهِ ع قَالَ لَهُ مِثْلُ مَا لِمَنْ أَتَی قَبْرَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ ع قَالَ لَهُ مِثْلُ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah al-Barqi from al-Hassan b. Ali al-Washa who said: “He will get the reward of the Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.).” He asked, “What is the reward of a person performing Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Musa Kadhim (a.s.).” Imam (a.s.) responded, “He will get the reward of performing the Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.).”

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَهْزِیَارَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع مَا لِمَنْ أَتَی قَبْرَ الرِّضَا ع قَالَ الْجَنَّهُ وَ اللَّهِ.

2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from al-Abbas b. Ma’ruf from Ali b. Mahziyar who said: The narrator asked Imam Jawad (a.s.), “What is the reward of performing Ziyarat of Imam Ridha (a.s.)?” He replied, “By Allah, his destination is Paradise.”

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ غِیَاثٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی نَصْرٍ الْبَزَنْطِیِّ قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ کِتَابَ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ع أَبْلِغْ شِیعَتِی أَنَّ زِیَارَتِی تَعْدِلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَلْفَ حِجَّهٍ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع أَلْفَ حِجَّهٍ قَالَ إِی وَ اللَّهِ وَ أَلْفَا حِجَّهٍ لِمَنْ زَارَهُ عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ ع مَنْ زَارَ وَاحِداً مِنَّا کَانَ کَمَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَیْنَ ع.

3. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Ghiyath from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Abi Nasr al-Bazanti who said: It is narrated that a letter of Imam Ridha (a.s.) contained the following text: “Convey to my Shias that the reward of my Ziyarat equals to one thousand Hajjs.” The narrator asked Imam Jawad (a.s.), “Is it equal to a thousand Hajjs?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Yes, one who performs his Ziyarat knowing his right this act is equal to a million Hajjs.” Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says that one who performs the Ziyarat of any one of us will get the reward of the Ziyarat of Imam Husain (a.s.).”
