Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَوْرَاءِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عُلْوَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِی النَّجُودِ الْأَسَدِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عُمَرَ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ ع یَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَیُّمَا امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ جَلَسَ فِی مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِی یُصَلِّی فِیهِ الْفَجْرَ یَذْکُرُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی حَتَّی تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ کَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ کَحَاجِّ بَیْتِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَی وَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَإِنْ جَلَسَ فِیهِ حَتَّی تَکُونَ سَاعَهٌ تَحِلُّ فِیهَا الصَّلَاهُ فَصَلَّی رَکْعَتَیْنِ أَوْ أَرْبَعاً غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا سَلَفَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَ کَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ کَحَاجِّ بَیْتِ اللَّهِ.

1. Imam Husain (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “One who remembers Allah sitting at the place he offered Morning Prayer till sunrise is given reward equal to the number of pilgrims of the house of Allah and he would get salvation. If he sits there till the time of next Salaat and offers at least four rakat prayer all his past sins would be forgiven and he would get reward equal to performing Hajj of the House of Allah.”

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَکَمِ بْنِ مِسْکِینٍ عَنْ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ الْخَفَّافِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ صَلَّی الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ عَقَّبَ وَ لَمْ یَتَکَلَّمْ حَتَّی یُصَلِّیَ رَکْعَتَیْنِ کُتِبَتَا لَهُ فِی عِلِّیِّینَ فَإِنْ صَلَّی أَرْبَعاً کُتِبَتْ لَهُ حِجَّهٌ مَبْرُورَهٌ.

2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from al-Hakam b. Miskeen from Abi al-’Ala al-Khafaf from Ja’far b. Muhammad (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Taaqibaat after Maghrib prayer and offers two rakat prayer without having spoken to anyone it would be written in Illiyeen and if he offers a four rakat prayer it would be counted as a pure Hajj.

أَبِی ره عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ اللَّهُ جَلَّ جَلَالُهُ یَا ابْنَ آدَمَ اذْکُرْنِی بَعْدَ الْغَدَاهِ سَاعَهً وَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ سَاعَهً أَکْفِکَ مَا أَهَمَّکَ.

3. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said that Allah, the Might and Sublime said, “O children of Adam! Remember Me after Morning Prayer for an hour and after Asr prayers for an hour so that I fulfill your important wishes.”
