1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) كُلُّ أَرْبَعِينَ دَاراً جِيرَانٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu’awiyah ibn ‘Ammar from ‘Amr ibn ‘Akramah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Every forty houses from the front, back, right and left are neighbors. ’” 

2ـ وَعَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ حَدُّ الْجِوَارِ أَرْبَعُونَ دَاراً مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ.

2. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “The limits of a neighborhood are forty houses on all sides, front, back, right and left.”
