3 - قال: حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن عمر بن سالم، قال: حدثني أبو جعفر محمد بن عيسى العجلي قال: حدثنا مسعود بن يحيى النهدي ، قال: حدثنا شريك، عن أبي إسحاق، عن أبيه قال: بينما رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله جالس في جماعة من أصحابه إذ أقبل علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام نحوه، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: من أراد أن ينظر إلى آدم في خلقه ، وإلى نوح في حكمته، وإلى إبراهيم في حلمه فلينظر إلى علي بن أبي طالب.

He said: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Salim has reported to me from Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn Isa al-Ajaly, who reported from Masood ibn Yahya al-Nahdi, who reported from Sharik, from Abu Ishaq, from his father that: Once when the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, was sitting with a group of his companions, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib approached near him. Then the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "Whoever wishes to look at Adam in his image and nobility, at Noah in his wisdom, at Ibrahim in his forbearance, he should look at ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib."
