التوبة
al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:111
إِنَّ
اللَّهَ
اشْتَرَى
مِنَ
الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
أَنفُسَهُمْ
وَأَمْوَالَهُم
بِأَنَّ
لَهُمُ
الْجَنَّةَ
يُقَاتِلُونَ
فِي
سَبِيلِ
اللَّهِ
فَيَقْتُلُونَ
وَيُقْتَلُونَ
وَعْدًا
عَلَيْهِ
حَقًّا
فِي
التَّوْرَاةِ
وَالْإِنجِيلِ
وَالْقُرْآنِ
وَمَنْ
أَوْفَى
بِعَهْدِهِ
مِنَ
اللَّهِ
فَاسْتَبْشِرُوا
بِبَيْعِكُمُ
الَّذِي
بَايَعْتُم
بِهِ
وَذَلِكَ
هُوَ
الْفَوْزُ
الْعَظِيمُ
ʾinna llāha shtarā mina l-muʾminīna ʾanfusahum wa-ʾamwālahum bi-ʾanna lahumu l-jannata yuqātilūna fī sabīli llāhi fa-yaqtulūna wa-yuqtalūna waʿdan ʿalayhi ḥaqqan fī t-tawrāti wa-l-ʾinjīli wa-l-qurʾāni wa-man ʾawfā bi-ʿahdihī mina llāhi fa-stabshirū bi-bayʿikumu lladhī bāyaʿtum bihī wa-dhālika huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu
God has purchased the souls and property of the believers in exchange for Paradise. They fight for the cause of God to destroy His enemies and to sacrifice themselves. This is a true promise which He has revealed in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. No one is more true to His promise than God. Let this bargain be glad news for them. This is indeed the supreme triumph.
