وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ أَن تَمِيلُواْ مَيۡلًا عَظِيمٗا
Allah desires to turn toward you clemently, but those who pursue their [base] appetites desire that you fall into gross waywardness.

Commentary on Quran 4:27
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 4:27] Allah desires to bestow His grace on His creatures by showing them the right path, but those who are lost in the pleasures of the world wish to lead them astray, far away from true guidance.
