12. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Yahya ibn al-Mubarak from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah al-Kinaniy who has said the following:
“Abu al-Hassan , welcomed me and I was hanging a fish in my hand. He (the Imam) said, ‘Throw it away; I dislike that a noble and high ranking man himself carry something unimportant.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You are a people who have a large number of enemies. People are your enemies, O Shi ‘ah, because you have become their enemies, therefore, you must beautify yourselves before them to whatever degree you can.’”
