4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from al-Husayn ibn al-Mubarak from abu Maryam al-Ansariy who has said the following:

“I once asked abu Ja’far , about drinking yogurt water. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”
