أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ كُلَيْبٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ طَعَاماً فَأَهْوَى بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَصِلَ اللُّقْمَةُ إِلَى فِيهِ .
7. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from Kulayb al-Asadiy who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah , has said, ’When a Muslim man wants to eat food and extends his hand saying,
’In the name of Allah’ and ‘All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds’ Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, forgives him before a morsel reaches his mouth.’”
