عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
إِذَا بَلَغَ الصَّبِيُّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ فَاحْجُمْهُ فِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ فِي النُّقْرَةِ فَإِنَّهَا تُجَفِّفُ لُعَابَهُ وَ تُهْبِطُ الْحَرَارَةَ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ وَ جَسَدِهِ .
7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from ‘ Abd Allah ibn Jundab from Sufyan ibn al- Simt who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , once said to me, ‘When a child becomes four months old then perform cupping every month in the depression in the back of the child; it reduces his saliva and the temperature from his head.’”
