1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from Sharif ibn Sabiq or a man from Sharif from al-Fadl ibn abu Qurrah who has said the following:

“When the scholar built the wall Allah, most Blessed, most High, sent revelation to Moses that said, ‘I recompense sons for the hard works of the fathers, good recompense for good deeds and evil recompense for evil deeds. You must not commit fornication because fornication will be committed with your women. If one goes in the bed of a Muslim, someone will go in his bed as well. You will be recompensed as you provide recompense (as you sow so shall you reap).’”
