حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ مَاجِيلَوَيْهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْبَاقِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَ أَخِي عَلَى جَدِّي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص فَأَجْلَسَنِي عَلَى فَخِذِهِ وَ أَجْلَسَ أَخِيَ الْحَسَنَ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْأُخْرَى ثُمَّ قَبَّلَنَا وَ قَالَ بِأَبِي أَنْتُمَا مِنْ إِمَامَيْنِ صَالِحَيْنِ اخْتَارَكُمَا اللَّهُ مِنِّي وَ مِنْ أَبِيكُمَا وَ أُمِّكُمَا وَ اخْتَارَ مِنْ صُلْبِكَ يَا حُسَيْنُ تِسْعَةَ أَئِمَّةٍ تَاسِعُهُمْ قَائِمُهُمْ وَ كُلُّكُمْ فِي الْفَضْلِ وَ الْمَنْزِلَةِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى سَوَاءٌ.
Narrated to us Muhammad bin Ali Majilaway 
: Narrated to me my uncle Muhammad bin Abil Qasim from Ahmad bin Abi Abdullah Barqi from Muhammad bin Ali Qurashi from Muhammad bin Sinan from Mufaddal bin Umar from Abi Hamza Thumali from Abi Ja’far Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir from his father Ali bin Husain from his father Husain ibn Ali 
that he said: “I and my brother (Hasan) went to my grandfather, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He made me sit on one lap and made my brother sit on the other. Then he kissed us and said, ‘By my father! You two are Imams, grandsons and virtuous. Allah has chosen you from me, from your father and your mother. He has also chosen from your progeny, O Husain, nine Imams. The ninth of them is their Qaim and all of them are equal before Allah in superiority and status’.”
