If a man dies and leaves behind a wife and a son, the wife receives one-eighth of the inheritance, and the remainder goes to the son. Similarly, if he leaves behind a wife and a daughter, the wife receives one-eighth, and the remainder goes to the daughter. If he leaves behind a wife, a son, and a daughter, or multiple sons and daughters, the wife receives one-eighth, and the remainder is divided among the sons and daughters, with the male receiving the share of two females.
