1878 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اَلْفَيْضِ اَلتَّيْمِيُّ عَنِ اِبْنِ رِئَابٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : يَنْهَى عَنِ اَلنَّرْجِسِ لِلصَّائِمِ فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وَ لِمَ قَالَ «لِأَنَّهُ رَيْحَانُ اَلْأَعَاجِمِ».
Hadith.1878 - Muhammad ibn al-Faydh al-Taymi narrated from Ibn Ri'ab, who said:
"I heard Abu Abdullah 
forbidding the use of narcissus (nargis) for the fasting person.
I asked: 'May I be your ransom, why?'
Imam replied: "Because it is the fragrant herb of the non-Arabs (al-A'jam)."
